In this World dominated by Man, Woman are trying very hard to find themselves a place of honour, dignity and authority. Breaking all the boundaries created by Society, when a Woman emerges out, not just as a great Mother, Wife, daughter or sister but also as successful business woman, she inspires many other women to follow her footsteps.

23rd January - Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose can rightly be called as one of the greatest sons of Mother India, who had fought for the Independence of the Country from British rule, on his own. He was a strong and powerful leader and will always be loved and remembered for his patriotism.

23rd January is celebrated every Year with great pride and respect, to honour the birth anniversary of India's most revolutionary and forgotten hero- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Today is his 114th birth anniversary. The day is celebrated in a grand manner in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Tripura, Manipur and other North Eastern States.

Basic Nutrition

Nutrition to human body is provided by the six essential nutrients like: Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Vitamin and Minerals

Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates provide energy needed for the body to perform actions on a daily basis. It is found in rice, wheat, bread, cereals and also in some vegetables. Carbohydrates contain sugar and hence it I believed to increase the glucose levels in blood of human body.

Proteins: Protein helps in growth and development of the human body. It is found in meat, fish, eggs, pulses, legumes, soy-products, tofu, milk and cheese.

Fats: Fats also give energy to the body in the form of calories. It is very important for children as it help in their brain development. Consumption of too much of fatty food can bring obesity and many other health problems. Oils of all types contain fat in plenty. It is also found in butter, cheese and all fried foods.

Vitamin and Minerals: Vitamins and Minerals are essential for the well-being of human body as it protects and safeguards from diseases. It helps in building immunity in the body. Vitamins are divided as Vitamin A, B,C,D,E and K. The main source of Vitamins are fruits and Vegetables.

Minerals are found in Cereals, meat, fish, nuts, dried fruits and milk.
Minerals help in building strong bones and teeth. It also helps by turning food that we eat into energy required by the body to work. Calcium, iron, salt, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and sulphur are some of essential Minerals.
