Top Bollywood Films of 2012

Hindi Films Industry has seen many talented directors who made their debut this year. 2012 has seen Heroines take the lead in most of the films like Sridevi in ‘English Viglish’, Vidya Balan in ‘Kahaani’, Kareena Kapoor in ‘Heroine’, Rani Mukherjee in ‘Aiyyaa’ and Preity Zinta in ‘Ishq in Paris’. It has been a celebration of Woman power, this year.

The Top and most loved films of Bollywood, this year are:

1. English Vinglish: The hero of the film is Sridevi. Yes, the Superstar Actress is back with a mind-blowing performance in English Vinglish. The director of the film is Gauri Shinde and this is her debut directorial venture. With her very first film, she has made an lasting impression in the minds of Film Critics as well as the movie-goers. A very well made film and a must watch for every Indian Woman. The story of a Marathi house-wife who being an excellent wife and mother had to face embarrassment for not being able to converse fluently in English. Later, she learns English but still prefers to give respect to her own language.

2. Barfi: A master-piece film made by Anurag Basi. The USP of the film is the excellent performances by all the three leading Actors: Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz.

3. Kahaani: The confident and powerful acting by the hero of the film, Vidya Balan. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film captures every little detail of the city of Kolkata.

4. Paan Singh Tomaar: Brilliant performance by a great actor, Irrfan Khan. He deserves a National Award for this film.

5. Vicky Donor: Another award –winning film of 2012. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, this film saw Ayushman Khurana, the popular TV anchor make his film debut. The producer of the film is Actor John Abraham.

The other good films of 2012 were Ferrari Ki Sawari, OMG-Oh My God, Gangs of Wasseypur, Chakravuy, Shirin Farhad ki Toh Nikal Padi, Shaghai and Chittagong.
